Kleenek Terms of Service

Effective from: 1 June 2026

1. General information

  • β€”These Terms of Service govern the use of the Kleenek platform, available at kleenek.pl and kleenek.com.
  • β€”The platform is operated by Graventa Sp. z o.o., registered in Poland, VAT no.: 5512674112, REGON: 542589993 (hereinafter: "Operator" or "Kleenek").

  • β€”Using the platform constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • β€”"Platform" β€” the Kleenek website and mobile application.
  • β€”"Customer" β€” an individual or legal entity using the Platform to book a cleaning service.
  • β€”"Specialist" β€” an independent cleaning professional operating on a self-employed basis, using the Platform to find bookings.
  • β€”"Booking" β€” a contract for cleaning services concluded directly between a Customer and a Specialist via the Platform.

3. Nature of the platform β€” marketplace

  • β€”Kleenek operates solely as an intermediary marketplace connecting Customers with Specialists.
  • β€”The Operator is not the employer of Specialists, does not employ them, and is not a party to the cleaning service contract. Specialists are independent contractors operating on their own account and at their own risk.
  • β€”The Operator is not liable for the quality, timeliness or outcome of services provided by Specialists.

4. Registration and account

  • β€”Full use of the Platform requires creating an account.
  • β€”Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • β€”Accounts are personal and may not be transferred to third parties.
  • β€”The Operator reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete an account in the event of a breach of these Terms.

5. Specialist verification

  • β€”Every Specialist must pass identity and document verification conducted by the Operator before accepting their first booking.
  • β€”Verification is intended to improve user safety and does not constitute employment or any other form of labour relationship.
  • β€”The Operator does not guarantee the availability of any specific Specialist at any given time.

6. Bookings and payments

  • β€”Bookings are made via the Platform.
  • β€”Payment is authorised at the time of booking and charged after confirmation that the service has been completed.
  • β€”The Operator charges a commission on each completed booking. The commission rate is stated in the Specialist's dashboard.
  • β€”All prices displayed on the Platform are gross prices in Polish zloty (PLN).
  • β€”Payments are processed by third-party payment service providers. The Operator does not store card payment data.

7. Cancellations

  • β€”Customers may cancel a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled service.
  • β€”Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booking value.
  • β€”Specialists may cancel only in justified circumstances and must promptly notify both the Customer and the Operator.

8. Insurance

  • β€”Every booking made through the Platform is covered by liability insurance.
  • β€”The insurance covers damage caused by the Specialist during the performance of the service, up to the insured sum.
  • β€”The insurance does not cover damage caused intentionally or arising from normal wear and tear.
  • β€”Full insurance terms are available on request at kontakt@kleenek.pl.

9. Complaints

  • β€”Complaints about service quality must be submitted within 24 hours of the service being completed.
  • β€”Complaints are accepted only by email at kontakt@kleenek.pl.
  • β€”The Operator will respond to complaints within 14 business days of receipt.
  • β€”A valid complaint may result in a refund or a re-clean performed by a different Specialist.

10. Personal data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at kleenek.pl/en/polityka-prywatnosci and with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR). The data controller is Graventa Sp. z o.o.

11. Liability

  • β€”The Operator is not liable for damages resulting from failure or improper performance of a service by a Specialist.
  • β€”The Operator's liability for intermediary services is limited to the value of the specific booking to which the claim relates.
  • β€”The Operator is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or other consequential losses.

12. Changes to these Terms

The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms. Changes take effect 14 days after the updated version is published on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after this period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Any disputes arising from use of the Platform shall be resolved by the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's registered office. Consumers have the right to use out-of-court dispute resolution methods, including the EU ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
